This mod adds several new types of badger, some real, some fictional. Giant variations are included, but not badger men/badger ponies/badger anything elses.


The varieties of badger added are:

Sand badger, aka Asian badger, meles lecurus, similar to the European badger but typically brownish in colour.
Anakuma, aka Japanese badger, meles anakuma, a close relative of the sand badger, but quite a bit smaller.
Cave badger, a pale furred badger that lives in caverns.
Clown badger, a large, ferocious, brightly coloured badger that lives in the lowest depths.
Wooly badger, a badger with long, shearable hair that inhabits glaciers, tundra and taiga.
Grizzly badger, a predatory badger that lives in temperate forests.
Hog badger, arctonyx collaris, a small creature with a pig-like nose. The version in this mod will leave truffles in nest boxes.
Black honey badger, mellivora capensis cottoni, a honey badger with completely black fur.
Speckled honey badger, mellivora capensis signata, a honey badger with white fur on its head and black fur with white speckles down its back
Tayra, eira barbara, a weasel-like creature, the fur on its head turns brown or gray as it ages.
Ferret badger, specifically the Chinese ferret badger, melogale moschata. An arboreal mustelid with fowl-smelling anal secretions.
Silky badger, a cave dwelling honey badger with long, shearable, silken hair on its back.
Tiger badger, a vicious tropical predator.

Giant variants of all the above are included, as well as giant honey badgers. Giant wooly and silky badgers have higher-value materials similar to giant cave spiders.
