This is a compressed save file of a fortress experiencing a bug related (I think) to the auto melt script.
I have modified the dfhack.init file, so I joined it just in case. I have disabled mousequery and room-list.

I run Windows 8.1, latest DF and PeridexisErrant LNP r48.

The bug, as I experience it:
Step 1: designate a stockpile for metal items;
Step 2: create melting jobs, create forge jobs;
Step 3: wait 15 minutes (estimate);
Step 4: crash.

The save itself:
Hotkey 8 (F8 on vanilla DF) should bring you to the offending Z-level. In case this does not work: most Z-levels in this fortress are 11x11 squares, but this one is 11x23
There are 2 magma forges and 3 magma smelters in the 11x11 room. The magma forges create steel items, which are either melted (standard quality, 1x3-3-3 stockpile between smelters and forges) or stored for later use (masterwork & artifacts, stockpiles above).
In any save that generates the bug (all of them, IIRC), there is only one stockpile that is set to auto-melt. There is at least one smelter with all its jobs set to "melt a metal object" and all its jobs are suspended. There is at least one smelter with one melt a metal object job on repeat.
The auto-melt stockpiles can have different shapes, and they can be either connected or not.

Disabling auto-melt doesn't necessarily prevent the crash from happening, but disabling auto-melt, saving and then reloading (and not resetting auto-melt) does.

I have not tried removing the suspended jobs from the smelter.
