Description
A sort of fan art I guess you could call it based on twitch streamer Purin https://www.twitch.tv/purin

It initially started as a practice mod with an established theme (fairies and slime), with the first sprites being palette swapped vanilla ones, but it grew from there.

The main feature is the bog fairy civilization entity.
Bog fairies are gremlin sized, have stumpy legs, two fingers (their hands are mitten shaped) and are perpetually excreting "bog filth" which gives happy thoughts (and also prompts cleaning).
They have wings but flying is disabled. If you want to re add it simply add [FLYER] under the creature definition. This is only recommended for pure adventure mode worlds as flying doesn't work very well in fort mode, especially trade caravans get messed up.
Fairies trade in spring, are at peace with wild life, uses any pets (arguably making elves a bit redundant). They can use metals but not make steel (if I could I would disable iron as well). They can not make shoes, and given how small they are, also not use traded ones, they are not happy with this. They only use daggers and spears (both two handed), and crossbows (size requirements reduced).
They also have special Fairy picks and axes (tiny versions) as a concession to allow tree cutting and digging. These are technically valid weapons too. They have longer mail shirts but no breast plates, or again, boots.
Fairies cannot embark with cave plants, which in the way the game is set up means they can't embark with drinks or seeds at all. They are however innate herbalists so you should be able to quickly sort that out.

The game adds a group of slime creatures with various abilities. Maybe when enough are added I will remove use any pets from the fairies?

A new stone named petrified slime is added. It is generated in any type of stone in small clusters. You process it with string extraction like that other metal. The strings (now called slimeium, the element for slime I guess) can then be melted into wafers etc. (There are currently two jobs named extract string, I'll have to look into that at some point).
Slimeium is very light weight and impact resistant but not usable in weapons for now (basically I can't be bothered to add graphics for dwarves etc).

Combining slimeium with silver makes slime silver which is slightly heavier but with a usable sharpness and can be made into arms and armor. This alloy is only available to fairies.

The mod adds about half a dozen new plants. The most notable being slime buds which grow next to most sources of water on the surface. It can be processed into barrels like sweet pods giving barrels of slime. This slime can then be distilled into crystals at a still. Crystal slime are gems and way too valuable given how easy they are to mass produce, sort of braking the economy but whatever. Yes they are still slime even as crystals.

Finally there is a necromancer style secret knowledge call "slime lore" (tied to muck aligned gods), turning you into slime sages. Slime sages have ha handful of special abilities, but since raising the dead isn't one of them, they can't construct towers and thus have trouble reproducing. So you usually only get one sage per muck god.

The folder includes a "feature log" document with further information.
