Description

Important Notes:
- Axes do not come automatically with you on Embark. They need to be added Manually, and are found under Training Weapons.
- This Mod is largely untested in a long-term fortress. Please report any bugs to the forum Link above!
- This mod is designed for above-ground villages. Underground villages are theoretically plausible, however.
- This mod comes with a pre-genned world which has no Titans and so forth. Use this for a more natural Legends-history/setting/gameplay.

Features

- Spades? Spades!
Mining is no longer a key feature. Originally, the idea was to remove it altogether - or limit it to the sedimentary layer - but the game disliked this. So, mining is in, but somewhat limited on some stones being Undiggable.

- British Farming
Blueberries (Blueberry Wine), Strawberries (Strawberry Wine), Blackberries (Blackberry Wine), Wheat (Grain Alcohol), Flax, Potatoes.

- Dried food, Stews and Soups only!
Dried Food, Stews and Soups! This is the year 5000(ish, don't bash me), and I doubt people had Sunday Roasts and Biscuits (Even if they are English).

- Larger Dye Selection
Onions (Orange), Weld (Green), Sunflower (Purple), Woad (Blue).

- Small Creatures have Icons
One thing I dislike about DF Vanilla, is that I can't tell which creatures are wandering about. All I see is a little coloured dot - sometimes. Now, you'll see green "t"s hopping around as toads, or grey "r" or "m" sneaking around as Rats and Mice. It adds to the flavour, I think.

- Stone age Technology
Whips, Battleaxes, Longswords - Poof. All gone. You now fight to the death with wooden one-handed spears with a buckler, dressed in little more than your moccasin footwear and fur pelt loincloth. Clubs, Blowguns, Crude Bows and Slings are also your arsenal.

- Stone Age Fauna
Aurochsen, Cave Lion, Giant Elk, Weasel, Stoat, Otter, Mastodon, Reindeer, Saiga Antelope, Wolverine, Ptarmigan, Arctic Fox, Badger, Marten ,Mink, Lynx, Hare, Rabbit, Boar, Roe Deer, Musk-Ox, Horse, Chamois, Ibex, Wisent, Red Stag, Flying squirrel, Woolly Mammoth, Dwarf Mammoth, Woolly Rhinoceros, Alpine Vole.

- Fur armour
Pelts/Fur are alike to Leather, except it adds a variance to the game's items and are butcherable from creatures.

- Other Little Things
Edible Turtle Eggs, Fishing without Fear, probably other little things here and there.

- Wild Folk
These are basically Goblin replacements in a human form. Sadly I couldn't have a species that Siege *and* are nomadic, so I threw them in Dark Fortresses.
