Bentgirder is a way for new DF players to jump right into the action without dealing with generating a world and finding a suitable location.

This is a full install of Dwarf Fortress, with the Mayday tile set included. A pre-generated world is included, with a brand new fortress, Bentgirder. The game was saved just after the "Strike the Earth" screen.

Bentgirder has good mineral resources, plenty of trees, and no hostile wildlife. The starting dwarves cover all the essential skills, and the supplies in the wagon should last a while.
